We Care
At Broadview University, you’ll experience our caring culture in your interactions with classmates, instructors and staff members. The simple motto We Care forms a consistent thread through service-learning projects, campus community service activities and our service to students.
We Care in action
Apply your course knowledge to real-world situations as you collaborate with community partners. Gain valuable experience while giving back to your community. For example, students in our veterinary technology program work with local animal shelters and humane societies to provide basic care for cats and dogs.
Community Service Day
Each spring staff and faculty at our campuses participate in Community Service Day, a time when we get out of the classroom and into the community to help people and organizations in need. Recent examples of community service day activities include Layton campus staff picking up litter in their neighborhood; West Jordan campus staff raising funds for Utah’s homeless pets, working at the Habitat for Humanity ReStore, and helping the Head Start program and St. Vincent DePaul Resource Center.
Government Relations
Career colleges provide students like you with choice and access to practical post-secondary education. Our student advocates proudly take this message to their legislators at state and national capitols.
Students attend the Career College Association of Utah Legislative Action Day, speaking to members of the legislature about the educational options career colleges offer and why the students chose to attend Broadview University. The experience helps to increase students’ appreciation of the legislative process.
