Loans and Grants
Many students at Broadview University take advantage of federal loan and grant programs to help with the cost of college. Our financial aid coordinators are happy to meet with you to determine if you are eligible for any of these opportunities. We can also help make sense of your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Loan opportunities
Low-interest government loans are available to students who qualify:
- Parent Loans for Undergraduate Students (PLUS). This loan program is for parents with students enrolled at least half-time in undergraduate programs.
- Stafford Loans. This program awards subsidized or unsubsidized loans based on financial need.
Grant opportunities
Grants are sums of money awarded to eligible students. They do not have to be paid back. Here are common grant opportunities:
- Federal Supplemental Education Opportunity Grant (FSEOG). This program provides financial assistance provided to the student with exceptional financial need.
- Pell Grant. This grant provides financial assistance to the student who demonstrates financial need.
We are happy to meet with you in person to discuss these opportunities and determine which, if any, are right for you. We can even help as you fill out your paperwork.
