Areas of practice: AAS, ADN Nursing 

Graduates of Broadview University's AAS in Nursing program, sometimes referred to as associate-degree nurses (ADNs) are eligible to sit for the NCLEX-RN licensure exam and upon licensure assume responsibilities in a variety of health care environments, including the following:

  • Pediatric, obstetric, surgical and critical care nursing
  • Acute care nursing in hospitals
  • Home health care nursing
  • School nursing
  • Behavioral health services
  • Flight nursing
  • Long-term care and assisted living nursing
  • Nursing specialist for an insurance company

NOTE: The associate in nursing curriculum is currently being revised. The school is not admitting students into this program at this time.
